Acting Director-Joey Fargár

Joey Fargár has enjoyed an international career performing in such shows as “Cats” (Mongojerrie); “La Cage” (Odette); “A Chorus Line” (Mike); “West Side Story” (Baby John); “Fiddler…” (The Fiddler at the Fox Theater) As director/choreographer, He recently wrote, directed and choreographed “Holly Jolly Cabaret” for Stone Mountain Park Christmas”. Joey has demonstrated his skills with other shows such as Godspell and Tommy for Georgia Tech, Little Shop of Horrors and Peter Pan for C.A.S.T., Nunsense for The Depot Players, Personals and Pippin for The Olde Town Players and Pumpboys and Dinettes for On Stage Atlanta. Joey is best known in Conyers for his work as Artist Director for Class Act (a show choir) and Conyers Kids (a musical theatre school). From 1997 till 2005 Joey acted as writer/director/choreographer for Social Circle’s community theatre project. Recently he directed and choreographed You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown for the New Depot Players and this past spring he directed, choreographed and stared in Cottonpatch Gospel at the Social Circle Theatre.

Music Director-Brittney Jaynes

Brittney Jaynes was a member of Conyers Kids and Class Act with Joey Fargar and grad uated from Rockdale County High School in Spring 2002 in the top 10 students of her class.Ms. Jaynes graduated cum laude from Berry College in 2006 with a Bachelor’s of Music in Music Education.After college, Ms. Jaynes began her teaching career at Morrow Middle School in Clayton County. She began building her choral program by participating in many GMEA events such as 6th grade Statewide Honor Chorus, District Honor Chorus, and Large Group Performance Evaluation. Her groups consistently received Excellent and Superior ratings at LGPE. She taught at Conyers Middle School, Where she maintained a choral program of 200 students and also participated in many musical activities such as Solo and Ensemble, Large Group Performance Evaluation, 6th grade Statewide Honor Chorus, District Honor Chorus, musicals, Spivey Hall Treble Workshop, and All State Chorus. Her groups consistently received Excellent and Superior ratings at LGPE and Solo and Ensemble. Ms. Jaynes also acted as the Children’s Choir Director at Morningside Presbyterian Church with Walter Huff as well as a member of the Atlanta Opera Chorus for 3 years, under the direction of Walter Huff. At Morningside, she created 2 choirs for elementary-middle school ages and worked there for 2 ½ years.

Ms. Jaynes is currently the Associate Director of Music at Snellville United Methodist Church. She conducts the Women’s Ensemble, Men’s Ensemble, Middle School Choir, and High School Choir. She also teaches several vocal lessons and sings with the Sanctuary Choir and assists with rehearsals or leading Sunday services. She will be the choral director for the Waldorf School of Atlanta.
